Tony Giovoni (hence the name of Don Giovoni, my auntie's pooch) died in
a car accident when the hood went up in flames while he was driving down the Key West back roads.
My auntie is Selena Giovoni who married my Uncle Christopher in May of 1983.
He was a great guy, loved kids (and they loved him), but unfortunately never had any of his own. His fiancee had once been
pregnant, but aborted the baby when Tony went to jail on drug trafficing charges in May 1986.
He returned to Philedalphia and worked for my grandfather for several months
before making his new home in Florida once again.
Tragically, two months after he set up, his car blew up with him inside
of it. My second Uncle, ironically, was the one to find him on a back road.
Rest in Peace, Uncle Tony.
